Lane Field South Hotel
This 400-key hotel by InterContinental Hotels Group rises 18 stories above the San Diego Bay waterfront and contains multi-level terraces and balconies, an outdoor pool, a 23,000-sf ballroom and 32,850 sf of restaurant and retail space next to popular tourist attractions USS Midway Museum and Broadway Pier.
As engineer of record, Integrated Design Engineers developed the structural design for the building and provided construction administration services during its construction.
The hotel, known as BRIC Phase 2 is part of the Port of San Diego's North Embarcadero Visionary Plan and is the sister project to 16-story BRIC Phase 1, also designed by Integrated Design Engineers.
