Constructive Interference by Hypersonic and Plebian Design
Integrated Design Engineers designed the supports required to attach an 18-by-35-ft dual steel plate sculptural art piece to an existing interior wall on the Oregon State University campus. The weight of the piece is 3,500 pounds.
“‘Constructive Interference’ is a sculpture designed to engage members of the OSU community in active learning, by presenting a mystery to their senses: a static object that appears, impossibly, to be moving.”
