Constructive Interference by Hypersonic and Plebian Design
Integrated Design Engineers were tasked with creating robust supports to mount an impressive 18-by 35-foot dual steel plate sculpture on an existing interior wall at Oregon State University. Weighing in at a substantial 3,500 pounds, this artwork demands both strength and elegance in its installation.
"'Constructive Interference' is a sculpture designed to engage members of the OSU community in active learning, by presenting a mystery to their senses: a static object that appears, impossibly, to be moving."
