Neighboring the popular SoMa Arts District in San Francisco, 829 Folsom is a nine-story, 69-unit luxury condominium designed by engineer of record, Integrated Design Engineers. idE designed the building structure to accommodate the site’s main challenge of fitting a 90,000-sf building within a narrow footprint between two existing buildings. The building floor framing system was designed as a concrete flat slab supported on concrete columns and concrete shear walls.
