Seattle Public Utilities Spokane St. Pump Station Structural & Electrical Assessment
Integrated Design Engineers was the prime consultant for this Seattle Public Utilities contract to evaluate the condition of the Spokane St. Pump Station's structural and electrical systems.
The 1920s-era building consisted of a single story un-reinforced brick structure. An overhead crane inside was supported on the URM and water pumps were supported directly on concrete walls.
Integrated Design Engineers and electrical and mechanical sub-consultant, Sazan Group Inc, recommended three cost-estimated alternatives for repair, rehabilitation, and replacement of both the building's structure and its mechanical and electrical systems.
