COMMUNICATIONS STRUCTURE DESIGN & ANALYSIS

To expand or introduce wireless coverage, wireless companies need to install an antenna on existing cell towers or build a new tower in a new region. AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, and Sprint had to understand how the weight of that new antenna would affect the existing tower and Integrated Design Engineers provided the answer.

We performed structural analysis and tower loading studies on more than 500 communications structures and antennas located across the West Coast of the United States. We also provided ANSI/TIA-222-compliant upgrade designs for structures that would become overstressed by additional antennas.

Through this experience, we've developed an innovative new solution for addressing over-stressed towers that AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless and Sprint all report take weeks off their construction schedules and lower their budgets.

“IDE engineers are consistently an asset to our wireless facility development efforts. I highly recommend IDE for any project in the wireless telecommunications field. ”
