NOAA Pedestrian Bridges Seismic Upgrade

Integrated Design Engineers served as an engineering consultant to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration for the seismic evaluation and upgrade of four pedestrian bridges linking NOAA office buildings to adjacent parking lots.

After discovering a previously unidentified flaw in the existing bridge structure, we contracted a geotechincal engineering sub-consultant to analyze the soil conditions, and designed the necessary bridge upgrade to bring the structure up to code.
